How can I be sure that my recipients will be able to see my email? (Will hotmail users be able to see my email?)

High Impact eMail sends great-looking emails which render in virtually every popular email client, including AOL 6.0 and higher, Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail (in IE or Netscape), ACT!, Eudora, Netscape, Yahoo (in IE or Netscape), and Entourage (Mac).
High Impact eMail’s templates are standard HTML – no different than emails sent by top companies and professional email marketers.

What is the difference between High Impact eMail and web-based email marketing services?

Web-based email marketing services allow you to send emails to large lists, but designing emails can often be a hassle. Many web-based services offer limited editing capability, and they expect your images to be already designed and formatted. In addition, web-based services often have a very limited number of templates.

High Impact eMail is desktop software on your computer that allows you to send graphical HTML email at any time through your desktop email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.) It includes hundreds of email marketing templates along with the tools needed to produce professional-looking email, with no graphic design experience required. You can send email to just one recipient, or to many recipients.

Can I use your email templates in a web-based email marketing service?

Sure! Most services lets you copy and paste the HTML into their engine. After editing your template to your liking, click the “Export to HTML” button in the toolbar. This will give you the finalized HTML code of the template, which you can then copy and paste into your service. Consult your service on specifics of how you can send HTML email.

I want to send a newsletter, but I don’t want it to be an attachment. I want the newsletter to open up in the body of the email. Will High Impact eMail do this for me?

Absolutely! This is exactly what High Impact eMail does. With High Impact eMail, you can send a great-looking newsletter right in the body of the email that looks like a webpage, with images and links. Open the email, and the newsletter is right there – no additional attachments to open up.

Will my emails take up a lot of space in my recipients’ email inbox?

You may notice that HTML emails are a little bigger than plain text emails, but this is a very minor difference in size. A plain text email averages around 4 KB. The same email with a footer/stationery area averages around 6 KB. An HTML email newsletter could be around 17 KB. File size all depends on the design, the text and the images used in the email. The important thing to note is that images in High Impact eMail designs are referenced, not embedded. This greatly reduces the file size, as well as reduces the chance that your email will be flagged as spam.

What is ReadyShare?

ReadyShare is High Impact eMail's image and file hosting service. After setting up your ReadysShare account during setup, you'll be given your own personal space on ReadyShare to host the images/files related to templates. These are automatically uploaded to your ReadyShare account when finalizing/sending an email; all of the work is done for you!

Do I have to use ReadyShare? Are there any advantages to using ReadyShare instead of my own space?

If you have your own web space, you can certainly use your own space to host the images in your emails. However, using ReadyShare helps streamline the resizing, cropping, uploading and referencing of images, making the process extremely easy and productive – even for experts.

After installing HIE5, I am unable to view the screens/interface properly. Screens are overlapping each other, text is overlapping buttons, etc.

If your display settings are set too low, the program will appear distorted, and program elements (buttons, text, etc.) may appear out of place. You will also have no icons on the toolbar in the template editor and will see only a blue rectangular background. To fix this, you will need to adjust your display settings in Windows.
